High-resolution digital X-rays reveal cavities, fractures, impaction, and other oral health concerns. Digital X-ray images are much sharper than traditional X-rays, which is ideal for magnification. They also expose patients to far less radiation.
An intraoral camera is a small, handheld device that captures high-resolution images of individual teeth and the gumline. With this tool, Dr. Slaman can examine hard-to-reach areas of the mouth, checking for any signs of cavities and gum disease.
The Orthophos SL imaging device produces 3D images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways, and bone in a single scan. This incredible tool allows Dr. Slaman to detect many potential dental diseases in their earliest stages.
DIAGNOdent™ is a laser dentistry tool that measures the level of fluorescence in your teeth. Elevated fluorescence is an early indicator of tooth decay. DIAGNOdent allows Dr. Slaman to diagnose cavities before you experience symptoms.
The GALILEOS device produces 3D images of your jawbone. These detailed scans allow Dr. Slaman to identify signs of bone recession to determine your candidacy for dental implants. He can also use this to create a detailed plan for your implant surgery.
