Patients who require this treatment have generally been missing teeth for an extended period of time, resulting in jawbone deterioration. A bone graft can replace lost bone tissue in the jaw to create a stable foundation for implants. If your sinuses are too close to the treatment area, a sinus lift can reposition the soft tissues by adding bone tissue to the upper jaw and making it possible to accommodate implants.
Consider All-on-4 Implants and Skip Preparatory Treatment
If you have already suffered significant jaw recession from tooth loss, you may be able to forgo a bone graft thanks to All-on-4 dental implants.
